With a long standing and reputation and evolving menu, our client now seeks the addition of a new leader and culinary hero for the venue. Situated in a picturesque waterside setting and offering Modern Australian, seafood focused menu to a large and loyal customer base, we are now seeking a new vision for the culinary team and a new driver to push the venue to new heights!

Ideal Qualities we seek include:
- Great understanding of kitchen operations, supplier agreements and seasonal produce offerings
- Management of a larger kitchen brigade in a Head chef position, a fantastic culture builder
- Have training and experience in finer techniques in an A la Carte setting ideally with a solid seafood foundation
- Are a clean operator and you maintain a sparkling and safe environment
- Safe food handling knowledge is a must
- Must have good ability in a busy, volume style setting
- Experience with dealing with suppliers & using buying power as well & demanding high quality produce
- Ability & acumen in all financial control & reporting of the BOH
- Have a passion for Modern Australian cuisine and the creative passion for seasonal menus
- Are a strong communicator and have a level head, able to lead the team with respect and confidence
- Above all, you love what you do and can take ownership of the kitchen
